Beet Hummus A Fun Way To Eat Beets
Beet hummus is a fun and delicious way to add beets to your diet. Beets contain valuable nutrients that may help lower your blood pressure, fight cancer and inflammation, boost your stamina, and support detoxification. So gather some organic beets and some delicious chickpeas and reap the rewards of adding beets to your diet.
- parsley to garnish
- black & white sesame seeds to garnish
- extra virgin olive oil to garnish
Cook beet root anyway you want to
Bake - 390 degrees for about 1 hour or until you can easily pierce the root
Let cool to the touch and then peel the root
Combine all your ingredients in your food processor or high speed blender
Process until smooth
If your mixture is still too thick, slowly add more aquafaba until you get a consistency that you like
*aquafaba is a fancy name for chickpea cooking water. In this recipe, it works best if it has been cooled and chilled in the fridge.
