Who doesn’t like chocolate? Here is an amazing NO BAKE VEGAN Chocolate Mouse.
- 5 cups cashew cream cheese
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup maple syrup OR honey
- 15 drops lemon essential oil OR grated zest and juice of 2 lemons
- 1 tbs vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 tbs agar powder OR 6 tablespoons agar flakes
- 1 cup raw cacao powder
- 1 Almond Date Crust
Combine the cream cheese, sugar, maple syrup, lemon and vanilla extract into a food processor
Process until smooth and creamy --- leave in the food processor
put the water and agar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Decrease the heat to medium-low and simmer until the agar is completely dissolved. 3-5 minutes. It should not be cloudy or grainy.
Pour the dissolved agar into the food processor and process until thoroughly combined with the cream cheese mixture
Pour the filling into the crust, spread it in an even layer and smooth the top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until firm enough to slice.
